Know before you go

Plan your visit

A practical guide to the predawn field, Saturday Night Glow, weather, safety, and a comfortable weekend in Prosser.

Start with the essentials

Two main venues

Where the weekend happens

Use these plain-language location details even if you choose not to open a map.

Friday · Saturday · Sunday mornings

The airport is northeast of central Prosser, reached from Wine Country Road via Nunn Road. Follow event signs and volunteer directions near the field.

Saturday evening

The stadium hosts the Saturday Night Glow. Exact gate, accessible route, parking, and any 2026 transit plan still require confirmation.

Food

What to Wear and Expect

  • Predawn air can be cool even when the day becomes warm.
  • Expect uneven outdoor surfaces and active field areas.
  • Use low light respectfully and stay clear of crews and equipment.

Accessibility

Confirmed 2026 accessible parking, seating, route, field-surface, and restroom details are still being gathered. The website provides text directions in addition to map links. Contact the organizers before rally weekend for current accommodation information.

Pet Guidance

Propane burners can distress animals. The 2025 guidance kept pets away from balloons and did not allow them inside Art Fiker Stadium. The 2026 pet policy is not yet confirmed; service animals are not pets.

Weather & launch decisions

A beautiful forecast is not a flight guarantee

Balloons need safe wind, visibility, and field conditions. The most relevant decision is the one made by pilots and officials at the field. Weather decisions will be posted here first once the official 2026 workflow is confirmed.

Stay for the weekend

Make Prosser your base

Lodging fills early during popular weekends. Use current Prosser visitor resources for places to stay, eat, and explore; no lodging partners are represented as official rally partners in this prototype.
